last week cam belt snapped well this morning put pushrod in put rocker in place hand tightend all bolt the three 13mm one at each end one in middle and them the two 10mm bolt started to do them up with ratchet in random order
and the middle one snapped no got to get rest of the bolt out can it be done i have got hold of a set off extractors but will it work or is it a new head :evil:having a bad week

you shoulb be able to get the sheared bolt out without to many problems see if it will tap round with a little punch and hammer shouldnt be tight

I had something in the distant past where that had happened (Ford maybe). Didn't find out till I replaced the rocker gasket, by which time I'd done 20k in it. Never did bother doing anything about it

Unless it's somehow stuck in the threads then the remains of the bolt should just be sat there and farily easy to move. Try tapping it round with a punch as suggested because drilling it to use a stuf extractor could drive it further into the head.

yes they do!!
and it is IMPORTANT you read the haynes manual and do them in the right order, and do them to required torques because IIRC they are whats known as "elastic" bolts or something... they stretch basically.
