V8 conversion - SU carbs manual/auto
« on: March 10, 2008, 09:25:50 »
I am in the process of trying to put a 3.5 V8 into my 90. I am just putting the engine together from bits from various sources, but I have just noticed the inlet manifold and SU carbs I have fitted to the block are for a manual, but I  have fitted an auto box. Do I need to get a different set up, or is there someway of fixing the kickdown cable to what I have already? ( I dont really want to have to get another set!)

many thanks

Sam
