A Friends Good Fortune
« on: February 05, 2005, 22:26:00 »
I took the trailer across to my parents house after work this afternoon to (eventually) reclaim half-a-dozen boxes full of stuff that I packed from our garage at the old house.
We lived about 1/2mile from them & between us was a nice chappie who has a 90 Station Wagon (2.5 NAD) & a 200Tdi Discovery.

I was passing his house with the intention of seeing if he was in. As I pulled up the 90 was outside.
No sign of the Discovery, but......

In the garage was a 110Tdi CSW, the 'so-and-so' has only gone & px'd the Discovery for one
A nice condition 'N' plate, he's just got it during the week, so is fettling it.

He says I can have a go when it's sorted.

Still, he gave me a 'house warming pressie'. A pair of new unopened Discovery rear mud-flaps :D (as one of mine has disappeared)
He'd got them for his, but px'd before fitting them.

What a nice man Jeremy is :)
