Perhaps more places need to take a leaf out of the catholic teaching principles? Its a catholic school that my girl attends, there are several kids from other nationalities including west indian and polish, and there are no issues in the school! It doesn't matter the names used for everyday items, its about respect for yourself and others! Thats what they teach in the school, which is one of the reasons we wanted our kid to go there, even though we are not catholic!
Chr*stmas, Easter, etc.... no matter what religion/creed/colour.They also study other religions, & their festivals, but the core religious curriculum is based around ChristianityNow whether that's because it's a private school, I don't know??
When they ban Cristmas, I'm off
