Not that far away as the crow/raf flies
Let us know when your here and will drop you a line when we go n do some greenlanes if you wish, Or there are a few clubs around for pay n play days, I would not worry - there are plenty of places to get a mud fix

I was down the road from there up untill a year ago
There's quite a few clubs near to there
Burnham Off Roaders
Hillingdon Off Roaders
Thames Valley 4x4 club
to name a few, there's loads more
There's loads of drive sites around too, the closet being Speen (just North of High Wycombe)
If you dnt mind short drives, Whaddon (as Lee said), Broxhead, Salisbury Plain are all within an hour away
:D

Hi - I'm on the next hill over from Strike Command - can assure you its beautiful countryside, and loads of Red Kites to watch if you're into that sort of thing. Speen is walking distance from the RAF base (mind you you probably want the landrover with you..............)
Several good pubs, brand new shopping centre in Wycombe (well the wife and kids like it) with 12 screen cinema and 22 lane bowling.
Enough of the tourist info - we've been here 21 years and love it! A
