wrong nuts of my disco wheels

hello was just wondering if anybody knows were i can get a cheap set to fit my new wheels apparently i need in depth one's to line the wheels up properly

i cudnt find a pic on the net but the look like this

There are two types of wheel nuts to fit the Discovery, one set fits the alloy type rim and goes through the hole in the rim and the other type fits the steel rims.

I'm sure ive seen LR alloy nuts, some with a tapered end, some without.
If you've got the ones with a tapered end you can used them on your steel wheels.

The older style of alloy wheel nut (as used on 1980's vintage RRC) didn't have a taper for steel wheels. Last time I checked these were no longer available new.

Later alloy wheel nuts have the taper and a chrome plated tin cap over the hex to make them look nice. Personally I dislike these, the tin caps are very prone to damage if some fool does them up with a breaker bar, making it difficult to get sockets on/off.

Aluminium cap, they go oversize and stick in the 27mm socket which is why you see them with their ends chewed off.
