« on: April 06, 2008, 20:39:04 »
can anyone tell me if hte plates that cover the PTO hole in a series transfer box were all the same?
i have 3 different boxes: 1 is in the landy, 1 is stuck in third and the other is an allegedly good box, but its missing the PTO plate.
the trouble is, all 3 boxes are different ages, but i cant remember which one is which.

As far as I am aware, all standard Series gearboxes utilise the same rear cover plate with mainshaft support bearing.
