:-k i must admit in thoery the air pressure might go up but to see any increase in hp surely the fuel ratio would need to be mapped to suit

Looks like one of those Hiclone things - really baffled how they could make a difference, if anything they'd make things worse by restricting airflow. The reason we get rid of cats, silencers, etc is to make exhaust gases flow more freely, so putting something in the intake is surely a backward step?

Unless it's a pair of turbos...  :D

hi clones do work! they have greatly improved the responce time on the old chaps TD5......i don't know weather the claims on power are true but it definitely helps response time!

hp increase not great if any. torque yes something different maybe a torque curve change or something , mpg 10.7 roughly did boot it abit. keep u posted.

besides than spiral thing or what ever it is just the start of add on but no serious money one will be added.

low down grunt and mpg now i would like to change a little.

have considered 4.11 diffs but i think all the short gearing would be too much to make the gearbox last for a long time done 135,000 so far plus i fear the back end would tend to over steer with insas on at higher speeds.

plz correct  me if im wrong just in thoery from memory

going to billing sort of after a few detours , damm the flipping roadworks.

mpg is now 14 mpg at best   well its a start anyway

and torque on hills is about the same as running mt on 235/70/16 compare to 235/85/16 roughly may be slightly better
