« on: April 09, 2008, 09:58:20 »
well I am sat at home after being rushed into hospital @ 3:20am yesterday - severe pains in my chest and back (had 2 heart scares before) well was in for 3 hours..only to be sent home and told |I cant drive (not good as im a hgv driver) also my GP needs to see me asap - well in 3 days...god bless the NHS!
can only get comfy in one position, and feels like some one has taken a baseball bat to my ribs  :'(
Just wanted to vent a little frustration

Had to reply just to let you know someone is out here!!!  Good luck with the GP appointment - you sure they haven't given you some old Scammell with no PAS to drive, and you've pulled muscles!!  Got my HGV medical in a couple of weeks - reckon my unassisted eyesight will be marginal.  Why is it the test for trcuk drivers is worse than for private pilots??  (At least I don't drive for a living so not quite the pressure).

Treat it as an unexpected rest in bed .........maybe.......  - cheers, A
3 Defenders on and I'd still buy another.....

Hope it all goes well mate. Not wishing to sound flippant, but it sounds similar to pains my wife had a few days ago, which turned out to be bad indigestion.
Get better soon.
All the best,
