Ok, so here goes. At the moment i have a virtually bog standard Swb Jlx Vitara. Bodywork is ok cept for the rear arches which are on their last legs. It's a Jap built one with a Mikuni carb and the engine is a belter. Just got the usual revving prob when cold.
Went to the local scrappy yesterday, and the first thing ì saw was another one just been brought in with a blown head gasket. It's an auto too, but apart from that it's solid.
300 quìd later it's mine!. Now here's the thing. Do i repair the engine that's in it and use it as is, or do i put my manual engine and box in. The new one is an EFI too.
Which way is going to be the lesser of the two evil's?.
