I got a phone call at work today from a large power company, (I’m not allowed to say who), who want tracking devices fitted to all 17 of there unimog's.
 They are dropping one off at the office so our engineers can make up the cables for the vehicle. I can drive it as well, after begging their fleet manager.
 I’ve got a unimog for a fortnight!!!!!!!!!

Will do, as soon a it arrives.
 I may have to do a bit of photo shopping on the logo's as it is a very big contract (including tracking vehicles & employs in Saudi) and these are the trial vehicles. The contract hasn't been signed yet. Or post them after they have signed the contract.
 Still means a lot of work for me will have to add aprox 7tb of extra storage to the network to cope with the interactive mapping and tracing log files. As well as new servers.

That sounded really exiting, right up 'till the last paragraph.  the you started talking a foreign langauge.

They are cool machines i used to have full use of an old mk1 unimog with total submersion kit on it, it also had a 6 ton concrete block in the back we used it for towing railway wagons full of grain but i used to borrow it at weekends for the fun stuff :wink:

The Mcdonalds in Hamilton (about an hours drive south of here) has a HGV drive thru lane - 6m height clearance, service window 2m up, access for something with a turning circle like the Titanic.  It works well so long as you're in a big enough vehicle to reach the window.
