Leaky Heater Matrix
« on: April 27, 2008, 20:39:48 »
Still haven't got round to replacing the leaking heater matrix on my Disco 300tdi. Even though the thoughts of having ago at it myself are a bit daunting, I may get round to it when the weather gets a bit warmer and lighter nights.

But, would there be any long term issues with having a pipe fitted under the bonnet to keep the engine cooling system ok but would by-pass the heater matrix.

I replaced the matrix on my Range Rover a couple of years ago....it was an absolute b*gger...but I was so chuffed when I finally got it all put back together.  I'm fortunate that I have a normal car to use, as it took me a week on and off to get it done!!
