head may off gone

is it hard to change the head gasket   :shock: cos thing mine has gone  and not too shore how to fix  it but am thing about having a go  :?  its a 3.9 v8 efi

got  cream in the oil  cap  :? but not that much , have put some oil flush in and  droped oil today  and put some new in  ran for harf an hour and no cream  ,  thing is start up a bit off smoke but not white then  nothing when gets wormed up   
 be befor i did all this  the off side bank had some cream in brether  filter   and did the same a bit off smoke on start up then  clear  but every sime on start up smoke till got worm        :? :? :? :? hope this will help someone to help me   :(   thanks martin

make sure your breathers are clear 1st

You'll get a wee bit of mayo cause of the temp inside the rocker cover and the cold air passing over and causing it condinsate. Is it loosing/using water? To be on the safe side get the cooling system chemical tested. This test picks up Hydro Carbons (I think) which come from the cylinders. This would prove a cylinder to water jacket leak. If the oil came out white/cream then theres possiblya leak between oil journals and the water jacket.

its not the  head  and not the breathers all cleand  its been runing for a day or two and no singe off cream,  but its messing about again as now miss firing like over flueing but dont know how to turn it  down  :oops:
