A nice big sausage roll will sort out all that hurt Guy
1/2 an inch burried into my chin was a piece of the wire from the cup brush. If it had gone into an eye it would have been very serious.
Later on- when I was slicing up chillies for the curry I did the stupidest thing and put a chilli laden finger into my eye!
Yup, spent most of the afternoon picking those bits of wire out of my overalls after feeling a prickling sensation in my (ahem) nether regions!
Grinder slipped and took chunk out of finger :cry:Guy
i buffed my knuckle down to the tendon before with a grinder, its amazing just how well insulating tape stops the blood flow
I did something similar today whilst cutting floor tiles with a stanley knife - slipped and nearly sliced the top of my finger off!
I usually consider how big a job is by the quantity and severity of the cuts and bruises
Simple job to do today, drop and refil gearbox oil on the disco, still managed to skin two finger when cracking off the drain plug
not as good as me taking the engine mountings & chains of the trialer, got my finger stuck between the mount & the spanner & had to put a big leaver in & wedge the mounting across to get it out
still have scar from sticking blunt stanley knife into arm.and while grinding the head off a bolt on a s3 put my finger into the cutting disc cut through top of finger right in to the top fingernail

anyone here pass out at the sight of blood?? my old service manager used to bit inconvenient mind as we were agricultural engineers and skinning knuckles etc sort of comes with the territory and brother does as wellimagine-him and mate fixing car mate smacks hand cutting it open so blood pours out, passes out on floor, brother looks at it passes out on top of him so now i had two muppets sat on floor trying to get them to come round
Guy......where are the pictures
Chainsaws also leave nasty marks as well. Don't go near one with out the proper 'multi nylon layer' clothing

They rip 1/4 inch wide chunks of meat . 1 revolution of the chain and it's cut all the way through .This type of wound doesn't bleed that much , luckily.

Need to cut right though the radius arm between the bracket.GuyFor those of us whos fingers still number 10, I quite like the air saw, but it's a bit poor if your compressor isn't the size of your car, then it's a beast. What I was planning was to cut between the radius arms and the bracket, taking out the end of the sleeve and the bolt, which is seized in (only one of them, I checked today). On inspection I see that this gap is currently full of rubber, now you can cut this with the saw, but compressed air is a precious comodity so I may resort to setting fire to the bush in order to remove enough of it to get in with the saw. It's the front radius arm, so can you imagine trying to cut through that?Good new is if I cut one side I may remove enough of the bolt for it to come out when I've ground the head of the other end. Fortunatley it's so cold outside I'm wearing 2 boiler suites
