is it possible to stick a turbo onto a 2.5 N/A land rover 90 diesel engine? or is my only hope to replace the engine completely?
Don`t blindly follow where others lead, go you own way, and leave a trail. which, being in a Land Rover, will be of oil.

You'll be lucky to find a good 200tdi going cheap.

They fetch good money.

I'm in the same boat! Tired of having to open the window and flap my arms when going up hills!

Think I might be going for a 3.9 EFi.  Get similar MPG if you're really careful, and then you can LPG it.

Ta, it's in the future anyway. Have just spent my engine budget on upgrading the doors - to ones that will hopefully open and close without hand tools!

you could be right there, maybe selling the old tyres to the guy I bought the new ones off wasn`t such a hot idea after all, but having said they, they do look very cool.
