From experience this is our love for suzukies and shogans good and bad points so dont get upset and fell free to add to this
I going to start with the suzuki vitara 1.6 16valve lwb, nice little motor, reliable, fuel 35 to the gallon (petrol), geared well, light no need to mod much (the only mod we did was all terain tyers), many cheep mods around. very capable of just about any thin you throw at it.
Down side
light so bouncy a bit uncomfy but tolerable, needs a bit more ground clearance (this will only bother you if you are hard core off roader)
now the shoguns turn 2.5
good points, comfortable very, reliabilty excerlent, off road well fab( lots of talk, grunt what ever you want to call it , tones of room a good 7 seater
bad points speed slow to get there, waight (2.5 tons), mpg 25, lack of mods at good price all in all both trucks are very good in my opponion
