hmmm - obvious or scare mongering
« on: May 26, 2008, 16:28:32 »
OK so im not particularly a racist - or tolerant of other nations (covers a multitude of sins)..but when I read this It seemed a little 'obviously biased'
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/pressass/20080526/tuk-racist-link-probed-over-park-murder-6323e80.html
Now there have been a few attacks that have involved a 'white person' and nothing has ever been made about race/colur etc.. but it seems that as soon as a 'non white' person is attacked then the Racism card is played..now obviously if there are 20 odd people attacking 1 person of a different color/religion then I can understand the assumption - but when its 2 gangs then the lines become a little blurred..
itsa like the American general that was quoted as saying " Not all Muslims are Terrorists - but all the terrorists arrested are Muslims"
points to ponder in our Multicultural society   ( said as I look at the atate of the UK and wonder where it all went wrong)

mmm, but sometimes you have to assume they have more reason to believe this than just the colour of the people involved.

But is that because any non-white persons attacking a white person usually is branded a terrorist?

I watched a TV documentry presented by Rhagi Omar <sp?> a month ago. I think it was called "Immigration, an inconveniant truth"
According to the program, the vast majority of racial attacks are one minority attacking another minority. Normaly a settled group Vs a new group such as Afro caribbean Vs Somalies or Pakistani Vs Kosavas.

Unfortunatly, when these are tagged as Rascist attacks, everyone assumes it is an attack by members of the majority and the PC brigade are not inclined to clarify the statistics.

Careful mate, the thought Police will be after you. They'll take you away for a weekend of 'fluffy re-education' and feed you tofu.
