Too many hobbies?
« on: February 14, 2005, 16:34:57 »
Do you struggle to make time for your hobbies.

My Range Rover is my latest one in a string of hobbies such as Mountain Biking, Mountaineering and Climbing.

Do you manage to keep all of your hobbies going, or have you dropped some of them??

i used to be into computers a lot more than i do now

i would be into the landie a lot more if i knew how it worked but im a technophobe when it comes to opening the bonnet (can check fluid levels but thats it)

more that its a lack of confidence though.

aving a kid takes up a lot of my time anyway!    :D

I've just given up on a couple of hobbies.  I had to prioritise as I couldn't afford, or have time to do them all.

Getting muddy stays number one.  :D

Gone, has my arcade machine collection (much to SWMBOs delight)
Slope soaring has been given up (Sundays now used for LQ)
Models helis put on the back burner for now
Clyde 2.0 - Disco 200tdi
Bonnie - Freelander TD4 ES Premium

Know the feeling (2 of them).

Funny though on a green laning day when they ask if we are there yet, to be told we aren't actually going anywhere (unless we nip to the pub!). :D

Have wellies, get muddy ;-)

It's cash that stops me, if we didn't keep the Rangie on the road it would soon slip to the back of a long queue, joined by the Escort 1.6 Ghia, Estate, Van that all need work, the Capri that needs reassembling and painting, the garden that needs, well, bombing really.

No kids, and I find the hobbies a bit a struggle really, when I suppose they shouldn't......I think drinking gets in the way quite a lot, then maybe that's a hobby in its own right.  The hobbies list is as follows:

1) Fishing
2) Photography
3) Clay Pigeon Shooting/Guns/Firearms
4) Computers/gaming/web stuff etc
5) 5-side football/running
6) Liverpool FC
7) 4x4 offroading (the new one)

Put all that with 9-5 Mon-Fri, a house to do up and a wedding to plan for, it gets a bit hard work.  I must get more organised
