Couldn't be anything else could I?!

If a speed camera catches alto of people speeding it's not doing it's job. On the other hand if a camera doesn't catch anyone it's doing a very good job, or it's busted :)

 Yep, Good point.

Stick to the speed limit and you'll be fine. Simple really isn't it.

What was it you used to own?!

I must say, I much prefer the light up signs as you approach reduced speed limits especially at night!

We've all been there, heading home late at night and lose concentration a bit, next thing there is a flashing light telling you what speed you're doing and you think  slow down......much better than continueing at the speed you are doing through a reduced limit area and hitting some poor sod! and you don't get a fine in the post!!

i find that most speed cameras have a warning sign, (usually covered by trees) but when you get to the actual camera (usually miles away)you dont know the speed limit because instead of putting speed limit signs up they put speed camera signs up!!!!!

Agreed. It would do a lot to help their argument that the cameras aren't there to catch people out if there was a sign showing the limit before the camera. Such signs do exist, and should be placed before all fixed cameras if their real purpose is to make people slow down rather than making money...

have the limit written on the back of the camera, then there is no doubt.
