Stanage edge
« on: June 06, 2008, 00:02:37 »
As many will know Stanage Edge has been closed for a few weeks because of a blocked culvert. A contact at Derbyshire CC highways has told me 'a hole some quarter of a mile from the start of the track at Dennis Knoll, which we will be filling with large stone in the near future because access is easy. No other work is planned'.

Another contact at the Peak Dist Authority says that they closed the route because they believed it to be dangerous for motor vehicles and horses. The work is being 'chased up', as its recognised that the repair is urgently needed.

Any more info and I'll pass it on.

What are the real possibilities of a "permanent" TRO being established?
