Just been out and had a ook to see what i could see.
From the hose on the outlet side of the turbo there appears to be a 'T' piece with some braided tube going of somewher, but also a small tube, looks like breather pipe going round the back of the engine adnconnects to the top of the injector pump, on the cover for the diapragm. Is this what i need to connect to?
If so what end is more accurate, turbo end or pump end.
help really appreciated.

You can T into the small pipe on the waste gate or t into the small pipe that goes to the fuel pump diaphragm.
Waste gate, U shape pipe
Injector pump. Thin black pipe

In the top picture its the can shaped object with the rod poking out of one end.
If you have a 300 Tdi the layout will be a bit defferent but you will have the same object attached to the turbo.
On the botton of the waste gate actuator(can shaped object with the rod poking out of one end) you will see a small rubber tube linking into a small pipe on the turbo. You can T into this.

To give a true reading of boost that is a better measure you are better off measuring at the inlet manifold.
On my 200tdi, there was a plug in the inley manifold that we took out, tapped out he ran the pipe for the boost gauge from.

well fitted it last night at the pump end, had real trouble with hose not fitting, splitting etc.
When for a run, she was running at nearly 2 Bar, EXCELLENT! but had to wind it in a lot,
so readings now are as follows
General around town, varies with engine speed
Foot to floor gets up to 1.1bar,
Motor way long climb goes up to 1.1 bar then settles to about .6 bar cruising.
Hope this is about right, not so much fun to drive since i had to wind it back tho.
