Discovery 2 winch bumper
« on: June 21, 2008, 19:13:47 »
Can anyone tell me where I can get a Disco 2 winch bumper that was used in the G4 challenge, I thought they were Mantec but they arent on their website.  These are the ones.

2000 W Discovery Td5 ES

2" lift, Superwinch Epi9.5,  Mantec Snorkel, General Grabber AT2

Avoid employing unlucky people......simply bin half the applications!!!

Its a Land Rover Genuine part
Contact any decent main dealer or parts retailer, should be a stock item
Not cheap though
I know that Duckworth LR (advertise in the LR mags) sell them
Bolts to chassis via holes you cut in the bumper (like a bull bar/a bar) and just sits out front
But, why not just get a proper winch bumper that wont ruin your approach angle?

You'll find the winch tray is about the same money as a bumper
Thats a good reason for a new bumper i reckon  ;)
