« on: June 25, 2008, 21:09:37 »
hi guys as some might remember im new to the green oval
my question is has anyone had the same problem/issue as im gettin ?

the rev counter is playing up i think it is on cold turkey as all it does is shake from 0 to 3 while driving if i drip the clutch it settles down but as soon as the clutch is realesed its back to bouncing about
so my question is it an easy fix?

I`d be checking the wire from the alternator... mud and electrical connections... know what i mean!

dremmel is a marvellous tool for cleaning out connectors, even if they appear fine.

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong

Just clean all the wires as the terminals go green and furry over time...

Mine did this after the mayday mud fest a few years back but mine was the alternator packing up :(
