I used a place in Tamworth cost just over £80 for fob and programming, tho' the terminals from the battery holder have a tendency to crack the solder, try resoldering where they connect to the board.

That light means the immobiliser has cut in mine does it as well.

Or cheaper still....

http://www.remotekey.co.uk

Is yours a single button, or twin button??

If single, then you can program it yourself.... if twin button then if you get a replacement fob (or I can get one for you) I can program them... and it will be less that £80 all in - even for a genuine fob!!

Hi Ian its a double button.

If u take the battary out [!Expletive Deleted!] about with it then put it back it works but its doin it every time u need to use it. :?

As Karlo said... check the battery holder is still soldered correctly to the board....

If not... it might be new fob time  :(  (which isn't that expensive - I can even supply aftermarket fobs - which do seem to last better than genuine)

Mine has been playing up since winter.

The fob looks okay but i am not 100% sure that the fob is at fault because the door no longer unlock when it the alarm disarms, you have to walk around the car until it disarms.

Do you think the fob is U/S or is it the brain?

Also where is the brain is on a 3 door 95disco? .

thanks rob

Mine looked ok but just wouldn't work, when the battery connections were re-soldered it cured the problem so i went and got a spare.
