Jimny rear bumper and exhaust.
« on: June 30, 2008, 11:32:57 »
Wondered if I could pick peoples brains on the matter of replacing my rear bumper and sorting the exhaust at the same time.

I'm looking at making a heavy duty rear bumper because the standard one is currently the first thing to hit the floor at the rear and its going to get smashed if that happens. Wondered what people have done with regards to rear bumpers and the moving of the rear lights because there doesn't seem to be much on the market when I've looked round and getting one made is going to be cheaper anyway.

Following on from this I have realised that removing the back bumper is going to leave the back box from the exhaust as the next point of contact with the floor so I then ask the question, what have people done with the exhaust back box to avoid damage.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Steve.
