strange flickering

continuing the saga of my friends v8 that had a dunk last summer,yes that long ago,i finally got it running on all 8 cylinders  :D  :D but i have just noticed that the interior lights ,dash lights,side lights,all constantly flicker(about every second)even when revving the motor up they still flicker every second.......any ideas lads or lasses...thanks..robbie.ps items changed have been ecu, airflow meter and plugs.we have ruled out the ecu.

Alternator, something's gone inside the regulator (a black box within the alternator).  Get it overhauled or buy a S/H one.
