Its been a busy weekend, checking the rear wheel bearings I found them almost dry, looking at the seals I suspect they need grease, is that the case? Drum brakes BTW.

The should be packed with grease. Preferably lithium high temperature bearing grease.

But wee-wee is better than running them dry. I use a Lucas semi-waterproof grease in mine as they are always washing out, I've had to replace 2 pairs this year.
