stuck in difflock help

hi all got a d reg 5 speed manual rrc ands its stuck in diff lock so four now have took the front prop off but am hoping to sell it so need to sort it out any idea what it could be lever movers fine but light dose not go out help plz

With the front prop off have you tried taking it out of difflock to see if it's just the switch that's screwy?

Otherwise you need to get underneath and see if the lever is properly connected ie the operating arm on the outside of the box is moving.

If it is then the fault is inside the box, but I suspect it's in the mechanism between there and the cab.

hi there have bin driveing it with front prop off lever moves ok  but will not come out

Ok so it's the mechanical but then.  You need to heck that the lever on the side of thebox is moving with the lever on the tunnel.

DOes it feel stiff at all to operate? like it's connected to anything?

There should be a nut on the actual shaft into the t box, put a spanner on it and see if it'll move.....
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!
