Ok so the fuel tank on my 110 has been leaking for a while and its about time to sort it..
So have a look at some of the mail order places for a tank price and then settle on Stratton 4x4 at Horncastle...Their price is about as muh as that place in Matlock without the adding either the diesel cost of postage cost of a tank :roll:
So I get home then of course find everything is rusted solid.. I manage to break the spill return and the fuel sender pipes trying to get the nuts undone :(
So off to the local shop for the bits and they've not got the fuel sender :doh: :doh:
Only 2 more places to try locally so I ring one place and they quote me £ 25 +
unpon rining the other place they only want £ 15.80 +vat for the same part.....
How the hell can these places charge so much and get away with it :-k
Oh well I'm off to clean the rust up a bit more
