Anyone any experience of DiscoParts?
« on: August 19, 2008, 22:42:34 »
Hi Guys and Galls

I have tried to order some goods from the above company, but have not heard from them in the past 8 weeks. I Have tried to phone, but most of the time they do not answer. When they do, I get ... "You will have to call back when the boss is here, I can't help you."

Anyone had this experience?

Order now cancelled (sent recorded delivery) but worried may arrive many months from now.

Thanks in advance.

Ed

Maybe someone who is a bit closer could pop round and ask them........

I've always had great service from Mark.  He has an account on mud-club so maybe can tell you for himself.

I ordered a detachable towbar from them a while ago, delivered quickly. Unfortunately missing a couple of nuts and the pin to hold the hitch on, but they sent them next day delivery when I phoned. I'd happily buy from them again.

Anyone can make mistakes, it's the mark of a good company when they sort it out like that!

I've ordered loads of stuff form them in the past and never had any problems with them.

Hi Guys

thanks to all who responded.

I have sent the cancellation letter to Discoparts by recorded Delivery, and it was signed for.

I have had no further communication from them, but I have checked on their system and the order is now listed as cancelled.

So that should be that.

Still in need of a steering guard for a disco II
