 :-k  Got the chance of a L reg TDi disco Auto, But do i



   Not buy it at all   :?
   
   Buy it and swap all the off roady bits ( to which there are loads) of my V8 disco and flog the V8 as "std"    :'(

   Buy it and build a DAKAR  ( kinda a challenge anneka vehicle)   :-k

   Break it for spares, Has a big roof rack with freestyle alloys with bfg A/T in V-good nick   :-.
   
   Buy it Drive it till it stops   :lol:

   Any other sugggestions

     
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
a bit more fuel friendly than the V8

How about:

Buy it drive it 'til it stops

Convert to Dakar or similar with overhaul of worn out bits

Flog the leftovers on ebay

 :D

N.B. You'll need to get it SVA'd if you convert it to a buggy, which seems to be a huge pile of bureaucracy and hassle intended for the Hermes Conrads of this universe.

DAKAR claim you don't need an SVA as the chassi is unmodified.  Apparently any SVA will soon mean fitting ABS too.
