I dont think we can beat Lees one but.

We had a load of mobiles arrive at work for the team and one guys number was the same as his home number except the dialing code.

Also when I was at school a girl in my class was talking about her boyfriends BMW hed just bought, another guy in class said his parents used to have one like it. Next week she came in and had found photos of the guy and his family under the drivers seat, so her BF had bought the car the guys parents used to own, AND it still had photos in it!

My coincidence story is...

Had a call from a guy about 5 miles from us in Norfolk who was trying to get a couple of old Jags out of Zimbabwe before the troubles developed. We were supplying a garage in Bulawayo that turned out to be the place that used to service his Jags when he lived there. Small world.

My wifes family moved here many moons ago when she was only about 4 or 5 - they found digs locally until they could find their own place
The lady they stayed with was my Grandmother, who lived alone after losing her Husband in the war
She used to take a small boy a walk in his pram, indeed a photo of her walking along the prom with said tot is still with her family

25 years after that photo was taken, we got married - neither of us was aware of the photo or that we had ever met before until her Mother was talking about the past about 5 years after the wedding when the penny dropped !
We have now been married for 26 years - maybe somethings are just meant to be

Geez, that sounds soppy - Mills and Boon eat your heart out !
The nice part of living in a small town is that when I don't know what I am doing, someone else does

Just remembered.

The lady who lives up the road from me in Cornwall, used to live up the road from my house in Stroud. Was having a chat and found this out, then it transpires her best friend is my next door neighbour!

I was stood on the top of Ularu (Ayre's Rock in old money) 20 years ago, looking in the visitors book at the top, there was a signature from Burford (where my bro went to school). We turned round to the group of people just leaving - my bro asked who were the Burford lot, a lad replied he was, my brother then floored him when he started askin questions about the teachers at the school. They had both been to the same one only 20 years apart, and the same people were still teaching there!
Mainly found lurking underground and drivin my vit off road

Mmm...hadn't thought about it but at different times, my sister and I have travelled from Birmingham to live in Shropshire, met a Griffiths (different families of course), and married them.

Only thing the wife is worried about is my sister divorced hers  ;)

My Gran once fell ill while visting my Uncle in Canada. She ended up having an operation and the surgeon turned out to be the son of a friend of hers that used to live on the same street in Glasgow and that my Uncle and he used to play together as kids but neither knew the other was in Canada! 15 years later they are still great mates having rekindled the friendship.
