Idle problems
« on: September 20, 2008, 22:00:19 »
I have a problem with the rangie, when idling it isnt idling at an even rpm its ramping up and down between 900 - 1500. and when you go to pull off it will stall if plenty of revs arent applied. and while trying to reverse a caravan into a space the other day it kept dieing while at low revs.

Any one got any ideas?
The is back, but this time its got gas

Check out the idle control valve and give it a good clean, this made my 3.9efi slightly better.  Be interested to see how you get this resolved as mine is better but not quite perfect.

I also noticed the most when trying to park a caravan!
