hi folks me again what is you opponion of putting defender springs all round on a range rover classic, as in hadnling safty as its our every day transport as well as off roader laning

Too hard you lose ride quality and articulation.

OK to put them in the front if you put a diesel in instead of V8 but I would go for a Police spec springs if you want to increase ride height and stiffen it up, about £60.00 for all the springs from Craddocks.

I'd agree, cheapest safe option for a spring upgrade is police spec.

Here the red one is on new police spec, the blue one in lifted 2".

Exactly. The police spec give about 1 1/2" when new, they settle a bit but not that much.  Funny as I don't recall police RRC being that tall :-k

having gas tanks under the car id go no less than +2" lift, it will drive the same if not beter, look in one of the mags they allways have some sort of deal going on  LRO or LRM or ebay, found this second hand set on £34 at the mo
