The Truck was a tad nippy  :shock:
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
a bit more fuel friendly than the V8

But you've only got 4 cylinders!  ;) :lol:

But they can sound great at high revs. My old MG Midget engine was red lined at 8000 with max power at 7200. And even though it was at least 4 cylinders short of a proper engine (!) it did sound glorious once on cam  :twisted: And keeping up with 4.7 litre Cobra's with 1400cc'c along the straights was always good for the ego! And even better when I could nip past under braking  :dance:

AHHH cm'on,

" 'taint wot you got its how yer use it boy!"

my old hilman imp used to sound like a bag of rusty nails on tickover.

but once on the cam it sang as sweet as a gelded choirboy.

(mind you it DID have a lumpy development cam in the block)
Mainly found lurking underground and drivin my vit off road

How much work do you think it would entail to drop that 250f's lump into my 90. D'you think id have to move the engine mounts and change the bellhousing??  :grin:
