Hi all i recently bought a 96 N plate 1.6 8v Vit and planning on doing as much work as i possibly can myself. I am lucky that i have access to welding gear and a lift to make life a lot easier (and cheaper :)), but want to make my own front and rear winch bumpers. Has anyone had a go at making these themselves (thinking of copying an existing bumper on the market). The rear i think will be pretty simple but would imagine that the front might be tricky. Any help or advise appreciated :)
One other question is that my vit seems to have manual locking front hubs but a mate who has a k plate doesnt. Am i getting this wrong or do some of the newer vits have manual locking hubs. Hardly driven it since having it but just before i parked it up i put in 4wd low and could feel that all 4 wheels had drive so a little puzzled
