D2 power fold mirrors.
« on: October 27, 2008, 19:32:22 »
Just a quick question.
My D2 has powerfold mirrors but one of them fails to retract when i push the button down, it moves a little then stutters and stops.
I wondered if the mirrors are servicable and i would be able to fix the problem if i stripped it down?

Thanks,
Mat.

Mat,

The honest answer is I don't know.  But, as with most things on a Landie, you have nothing to lose by taking it off and giving it a once over (clean and lube).  Removing the mirrors is a simple task so I'd give it a go.

Was an easy fix in the end, just shoved the mirror while i pressed the button and it started working.
