Niva fuel gauge problem
« on: October 29, 2008, 18:07:21 »
Ok when i put fuel in my 1700 niva the tanks reads empty no matter what..

Ive checked all connections on the sender unit they seem ok..

Is it possible the float might have dropped of the sender unit..

Cheers Gav

If the connections are ok m8 ..looks like you might have to get the sender unit out  and check the movement of the float with a multimeter and check the resistance does vary depending on the float height..

Sorry autodata doesn't list much useful data on ladas
Hit it till it breaks then hit it some more !
