What age is this

I have just bought a spares vehicle which has what appears to be a 300tdi engine but is mated to a LT77 box. The brakes are the twin line brakes as fitted to 200TDI disco's. I havn't had chance to pull the shafts to see how many splines but would be interested to have any thoughts on the age of this. Also the turbo is on the outside of the manifold similar to a 200 disco as opposed to under it like on a 300.

get some pictures on the post and it might be easier to help.
You know how it is with these things,
there is all sorts of combos that could have been concocked.
It sounds like a bit of a hybrid to me and not a std solihull machine.

put the chassis number on, if you like put an x in the last 2 numbers.
Everything can be told from this, engine, g/box, export model etc  ;)
