Well, since going to see the nice chaps at Autolec last week, I'm happy to say that HL is now starting on the button \:D/  \:D/  I've been having alty problems since the summer, I cured it for a while, by fitting a 2nd hand Ra/Ro one, but that too had gone belly up on me; I had new brushes, bearing and summat else which I now cannot remememememember, and I'm happy now!!:D  (with my car, if not life in general!!)

My wife's Rover (2 litre L-series Diesel) has been a bit ropey starting (she didn't notice, but I did, as soon as I drove it when she was away).  Checked the glow-plugs and 2 of the 3 are dead.  Started to try to remove them but didn't fancy draining the coolant out in the snow so it'll have to wait for the garage to do it

After trying 6 times to start it this morning, she stomped back in and took my Disco to work instead.  Then I tried it, it started first time :)

Disoc no probs has sat for a couple of days last week, fired straight up, without waiting for the glow plugs.

The lightweight being petrol, takes a bit more, but not got a choke cabe attached

Mind you got double batteries on the disco, even if i flattened the main one, I could just jump off the second one

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
