I see two problems

1. I can't see Tesco's et al selling dry ice (the vid claims your supermarket sells it!!) Obviously American but I've never seen it in American supermarkets!!

2. "best done on a wam day!!" Thats us stuffed then!

You know the stuff used to freeze water pipes so you don't need to drain them to work on them.....

that stuffs well cold, we used it to fit valve guides in heads...

The plubers freeze spray is a good idea, but beware it may contain some form of solvent or something to make it work so try it somewhere you wont see first! (thats a guess mind, iv got a can somewhere ill have a look, diddnt freeze the pipes mind and now I have a knackered carpet in the study (not me, inept builder))

Ill try it one day as I have some dings on the bus that is otherwise nice!

The professional way to 'shrink' aluminium is to heat it and then quench it. I guess the concept is the same.

seen a similar video and the guy uses an inverted compressed air can (for cleaning out computers)

It does work, well it can work.

It won't work if the panel is stretched, not that well but it will remove those awful "sopmeone walked into my car" dents you get.

I've also seen it done with a hari drier to heat the whoole panel then an aerosol of CO² propelant (used as a duster for circuit boards) upside down so that the propelant comes out and freezes on the panel.

The hotter the panel the less likely the paint is to craze/crack or chip.

Oh, it won't work on Aluminium/duralumin or Birmabrite though :(
