Disco Body Mounts Question
« on: November 19, 2008, 23:04:42 »
So foloowing the MOT failure I'm hacking holes around the rusty bits so my bro can weld in nice new shiny stuff.

I'm looking at the body mount on the sill and the body mount is pretty rotten so I guess while I'm digging around in the sill I ought to replace it.

my diag gram shows how the siill and mount work but I can't find any information online on what is between the body mount and the chassis outrigger, eg the rubber rings and somesort of bolt???

any help?

I think they are the same as the ones at the back two rubber rings one each side with a steel tube in the middle.

found this at cradocks

put in discovery then click body and fittings  in the two search boxes at the top 60p each....

10th one down..
