auto 200tdi?

hi im a bit of a lazy kid and i need a new gearbox for my H reg 200tdi discovery, was thinking bout getting an auto box would it fit?

Not straight away. You will need to swap flywheel for flex plate and a few other bits and bobs that are rather hard to find.......200 autos are not that common.

Whats wrong with the box you have (LT77 I assume)?

The only sensible way is to buy a scrap 200 auto! so you get all the bits like pedal box etc

Try an oil change in the box first....

....or swap in an R380 from a 300Tdi Discovery.
