90 doors on an 88?

hi peeps, recently brought myself another landy and my only issue is the sliding glass in the doors.

so my question is can i fit the later 90 doors to mine? it runs the earlier 88 style one (pic included)

some ppl have said not too it will spoil it but both have some rot on my doors aswel.

The answer is yes, they bolt on perfectly, you have have to nchange the lock plate on the door pillar to take the later latch ,

The challenge may be finding rust free later doors! I have tried and failed. Ended up rebuilding the ones I had by srripping the skin off (carefully, because they are unavailable) and replacing the rusted out sections. Then refitting the skins.

Looks like you have the later 110/MOD all alluminium door tops on there. When you do find your defender doors you should be able to sell those for quite a bit. New ones from Land Rover are over £300 each. Mind you I like the ones you have now as when off roading you don't get slapped in the face by branches when they are open

That's true, but I found not being able to get your head out when needed more of a problem.
