Snorkel Piping
« on: December 02, 2008, 16:06:42 »
Hi does anyone know where I can get some flexi piping for my snorkel, I really want just 1 length of about 2.5m it needs a internal diameter of 63mm - 65mm but be able to put clips on it. I have tried my local 4x4 places and the local tractor place but no joy if they do some it costs around £25 a metre if anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

I use http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/duct-hose-108-c.asp for variuos bits. Make sure if you get cheap stuff that its not anywhere too hot. You don't want to think about how much I paid for the super heat reflective stuff in my Elise!!!!!!

Hi baz

I used siliconhoses.com. Ordered some ducting for mine its about £45 for 4 metres.
Ordered it online and it came the next day!

It's got a coil insert so even if its the same size as your pipe your fitting it to it sort of screws on.
And im sure it ups the performance a wee bit cos it acts like a Hiclone although i maybe wrong! :-k

Hope its of some help. Cheers TEMP
Will it fit though there? Dont know but we'll soon find out.............................opps!!!!

Try designations in peterborough. They will have what you need.
I was in there the other day and they do every type of pipe ever thought of.
I think they have a web site too.

Got mine off this guy, really good quality and not a bad price too.

63mm x 1 metre long is £12.63 plus p&p.
