Waxoyl booked
« on: December 02, 2008, 18:13:10 »
I've bitten the bullet and booked the Disco in for a full waxoyl treatment at Rustmaster at the end of the month.

Got a reasonable deal under a special offer they were running;  just tipped the balance of making it worthwhile!  Looking forward to having it done now.  I've been toying with the idea for years but have never quite got round to it.

When you get it back - park it on the road for a few days - something will drip!

My Disco is already well covered underneath but my 110 needs it doing.  Any idea on costs?

Under the special offer I'm paying about £375 inc vat.  Normally £425+vat.

Had it done today - took about 6 hours.  They lent me a BMW 520 Automatic as a loan car - better than the crappy Fiesta you normally get - apparently it's the owner's own car, but he's away!  The technician showed me all what he was doing;  certainly at first glance it appears they've done a good job.  Looking at the incredible amount of mess involved I think it was worth not doing it myself.
