......most of our old designs are being rebuilt into modern models... VW Beetle, Mini, Fiat500.

And you could add the Toyota FJ to that list! The front end is pure old school Landcruiser.

Jeep Cherokee's have a retro front end harking back to the Willys and as for the Wranglers, etc...... they never changed

Let me add this one too. I moved from Coventry (UK) to Texas this year, and bought one of these, after owning my beloved Cherokee in the UK.

Mazda CX-7

2.3 litre petrol turbo gets 244bhp - zoom zoom
Mine is 2WD, but UK version is 4WD only.

Nicem but with fuel prices here in the UK, who can afford to run it?

I do like that Outlander - be tempted with one of those when I replace the Freelander  :-k
You can pick up a 57 plate Citroen one for about 14K not bad.

You can pick up a Dodge Nitro real cheap!

Ive used an out lander for a month and its very comfy a bit thursty but livable a bit low but dosnt seem to be much of a problem it will pull very well but no overly quick (but then Im comparing it to a supercharged rr and well what can you say ) but if I was looking new or 2nd  user I would be very tempted tows fab and I have to add even though I own a rr Id still have a fondness for the mitsis

   Thats nasty!

I may be going for an Mitsi Outlander, anyone got experience of em?
