Strange questions about petrol
« on: December 12, 2008, 19:45:48 »
1. What damage does it do you eyes and skin?

2. How do you remove the taste from your mouth?

3. How do you stop the smell coming up each time you breathe out?

Yes, all strange questions which I would like genuine answers too please. I got given the opportunity to siphon a mates fuel tank from a rover 214 H reg for £10 today. He reckoned there is 25 litres in there. Sounds like a abrgain to me. We managed to get a siphon going after swallowing alot and getting it in my eye. We also tried cutting the pipe from the fuel filter out let and turning the engine over to pump it out the tank. Only thing gained there was a flat battery and his alarm going off, so now disconected battery to shut it up!!

So on Sunday we will try my hand priming pump to pump it out! How people go around doing this for an illegal living I do not know. I think I'm gonna be  :->

By the way, my mates car is going to be scrapped soon and anyone know how many litres a H reg 214 holds from just under half way mark? I got 17 litres out so far and my guage has gone from quarter to just over half now. We cant tell how much is left by his guage coz the alarm goes off as soon as we connect the battery.

NOOOOOOOO!!!

Seen it done.
Absolutely hilarious when the drill catches faire due to the petrol igniting off the sparks in the drill.

The best bit was the flaming rain pouring from the fuel tank and the guy swinging a battery drill around trying to get the flames out!

jack the back up and use a Stubby screwdriver and a hammer.

1...Don't have a fag........

2 buy one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Syphon-Pump-Hand-Siphon-Transfer-Water-Oil-Fluid-Liquid_W0QQitemZ270289638660QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item270289638660&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

they sell them at diy shops too well cheap... and they work well you just pump it till the syphon starts .
they don't last long with petrol though two or three times then they melt....

you can extend the tube with a bit of hose pipe pushed on tight...
so many hills , so little time ....

Brush your teeth and mouth wash will get it out of your breath the taste in your mouth,

best way to get the fuel out is as been suggested hammer a a screw driver.

Thanks,

I have never brushed my teeth so many times in 18 hours before! Taste is slowly going!!

If you use a hammer and screw driver though what do you catch it in as I think there is still over 10 litres left and a bucket isnt easy to pour into a jerry can or intomy car and once it goes I guess there is no stopping it until the tank is empty. We got some funny looks yesterday as it is a shared car park!

I mean what would you catch it in when it comes out the tank as there isnt much room and his tyres have gone flat and he is on a relatively steep hill.  :-k
