Handbrake again
« on: December 13, 2008, 16:36:43 »
Blasted handbrake, adjust the thing and it works perfectly for a week or so then usually when in a rush it locks on.
Out with the spanner, slacken the adjuster a bit and it's ok again. For another week or so anyway.
I've left the cubby box unscrewed now, so all I do is lift it out, so at least I can work from inside.
I stripped it down completely in the summer as well so I don't know whats going on.
Wish I could afford an Xbrake

I stripped and greased mine 2 years ago and it's been fine ever since.
