It is alot simpler than that and free.

That valid too date is your photo. I called DVLA recently as mine runsout in April and I was wondering what I needd to do.

About a month before you will get a reminder in the post. all you need to do is send in a new passport photo and your old license and they will send another one back all free of charge.

It doesnt matter if digi tacho cards have a different photo on them to your driving license

I've recently renewed my photo card licence after receiving a renewal letter... was charged £17.50 for the pleasure too  :shock:

When I had LGV to mine, they sent back the new new ones. They are PINK!!!

Yet another tax on motorists ;)

Who voted this gov't in anyway :-. I never wanted an ID card in my pocket in the first place.

 Amussingly the 2/3rds of the population legally old enough to vote who couldn't be bothered because they didn't think it would make a difference.
